Killing monsters was easy - he knew they weren't human, could divorce that from everything else in his mind, even when his employers had been demons themselves. Maybe that's why he couldn't bring himself to kill that group before, though part of it was also because there was someone that he had deeply cared for within that group as well - more than one, if he had to be honest. Though he wasn't surprised when after that was all over that they didn't want anything to do with him, and he couldn't blame them.

Jin's expression darkens slightly. He had talked about this with Tarr - and even though he had fed before, when he was already first succumbing to the hunger, everything felt like he was viewing it through a fog. "... I know. If I'm going to do this, I want to do this the right way. I'm not going to be responsible for tearing a family or lovers apart, Justin," he added, voice dipping down to a dangerously low pitch.

"Sick, dying, morally bankrupt - that's fine." He looked away again, his tongue running idly over his teeth, still blunt, thankfully.
